Description
Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Schneersohn, known as the Friediker Rebbe, was the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe and a pivotal Jewish leader during the Holocaust. Withstanding severe persecutions, including imprisonments and beatings within the Soviet Union, he relentlessly fought to preserve Judaism. Upon escaping to the United States, he established a robust network of Jewish educational institutions and significantly expanded the Chabad movement. His visionary leadership initiated the global deployment of Chabad emissaries (Shluchim), spreading the light of Torah worldwide and advancing the cause of the final Redemption.”
